2005 Connecticut Long Course Senior Open Championship
July 7-10, 2005
There were 2,531 starts at the Connecticut Senior Open Championship that finished in 20 record-breaking swims, 5 National Championship qualifying times, 25 Junior Championship qualifying times and too many sectional qualifying times to count!
Congratulations to the fine athletes that participated in the 2005 LC Senior Open and a hearty thank you to Meet Manager, LeAnn Abbott; Meet Referee, Ed Doernberger and the Senior Committee chaired by Jeff Allen.

Connecticut coaches
participating in the LC Senior Open elect a Senior Coach of the Year each
July. This is election is run by the Coach Representatives and this
year was organized and conducted by Todd Stevens, Senior Coach
Representative and Christine Pelham, Junior Coach Representative.
This year's winner is Jeff Allen, Head Coach of the the Wilton Y Wahoos.
Jeff has been coaching in Connecticut since 1985 and has served on
numerous CSI committees in addition to coaching everything from zones to
elite camps. Congratulations, Jeff!
