Championship Reminders

Please note the following reminders and changes to CSI Long Course championship meets.  This list highlights some of the major changes to the upcoming championship meets but is not all-inclusive. Please read the meet announcements!

     Connecticut Senior Championship

• Warm-up and start times have changed from last year's meet.
• The entry deadline is 9 PM Monday July 2, 2007. This is the Monday before the meet begins, therefore, there will be no late qualifiers and the correction period ends Tuesday July 3rd at midnight.
• No Bonus Events will be available for this meet except: Swimmers meeting the qualification in the 1000Y/800M may enter the 1650Y/1500M freestyle as a bonus and vice versa. FAST  Online Entries (OE) will display all bonus events, but only the 800 or 1500 may be entered, following the bonus rule state above.

• This meet is open to Connecticut registered athletes only.

  Regional Championships

• IMPORTANT VENUE CHANGE: The University of Connecticut pool will not be available due to maintenance. The two (2) 12/U meets will be held at Cheshire Community Pool (7:30 AM warm-up) and Wesleyan University (7 AM warm-up).

• The correction policy has changed from last summer's meet.

        Age Group Championship

• 19-year-old athletes may enter individual events but may not compete in an event for which they have a 2007 Super Sectional qualifying time, including Super Sectional times achieved up until July 26, 2007. 19-year-old athletes may not enter relays.
