Changes and Reminders
Please note the following reminders and changes to CSI Long Course championship meets. This list highlights some of the major changes to the upcoming championship meets but is not all-inclusive. Please read the meet announcements!
Age Group Championship
· Relay-only entries are limited to 3 per age group/gender.
· Outreach Athlete policy is in effect.
· 19-year-old athletes may enter individual events but may not compete in an event for which they have a 2008 Super Sectional qualifying time, including Super Sectional times achieved up until July 26, 2007. 19-year-old athletes may not enter relays.
· Deadline is Tuesday July 15, 2008.
Senior Championship
No Bonus Events will be available for this meet except: Swimmers meeting the qualification in the 1000Y/800M may enter the 1650Y/1500M freestyle as a bonus and vice versa.
Outreach Athlete policy is in effect.
Clubs may enter a maximum of two relay entries per relay event. ‘Relay only’ swimmers will be limited to a maximum of two swimmers per gender per Team for the meet. Relay-only swimmer entry fee is $5.
The Order of Events have changed.
There is now a positive check in on Saturday for Sunday's long distance freestyle events.
The entry deadline is 9:00 PM on Monday June 30, 2008. The correction period closes 24 hours later.
Regional Championships
Swimmers may enter up to one individual event on Friday night and a maximum of three (3) individual events on Saturday and Sunday. Swimmers may compete in a maximum of six (6) events for the meet.
Outreach Athlete policy is in effect.
Deadline is NOON Tuesday July 8, 2008· Entry fees are to be paid to the host club.
