USA Swimming Junior National Championship News Flash
Congratulations to Katie Gardocki (BEAR) and Alicia Mathieu (SNCO)! Based on their performance at the Junior National Championship, both were named to USA Swimming Junior Pan Pacific Team and will represent the USA at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships in Hawaii, January 12-15, 2007. Additionally, both have qualified for the 2008 Olympic Trials. Katie Gardocki qualified in the 400M Freestyle with a 4:18.13 and Alicia Mathieu in the 400M Freestyle with a 4:19.29 and in the 800M Freestyle with a 8:47.89. Katie and Alicia will join Kristen Frost (SNCO), who previously qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 400M and 800M Freestyle. Congratulations to these fine athletes and their coaches!
