See Downloading Meet Results below
The meet files we provide on this ctswim.org site are small text files with the ".mt6" extension. They contain the definitions of the meet's ages, strokes, distances and cut-off times. You use these files with LSA SwimMeet 6.5, 6.6 or 5.7 to run meets, and LSA SwimTeam 6.x to create meet entries for your team.
| From the ctswim.org table of meet announcements, scroll down to the meet you need a meet file for. |
|
| Go to the Meet File column and right-click on the meet filename. A popup window will appear. Click on Save Link As.. or Save Target As.. (if AOL user) |
|
| A file dialog box will appear. Create a new folder inside the \swim4\meets folder, by clicking the small folder icon with a star on the upper right and | ![]() |
| Rename the new folder on your computer by typing the new name over the 'New Folder' highlighted name. | ![]() |
| The new name should be the same name as the meet file name. eg if you are downloading arac1204.mt6 call the new meet folder arac1204 | ![]() |
| Once named correctly, double click on the new folder to open
it and then Save the meet file inside this new folder. When you want to use this example file in LSA programs you need to use |File|Open to find the folder and locate the file. Double click the arac1031.mt6 file to select it. |

Now you can use SwimTeam 6.x to enter your team in this meet. Send the final meet entry file(s) to the meet manager on a diskette or zipped as a file attachment by E-mail. Always include the entry file with the sd3 file name extension among any files that you send.
We now also provide all meet results as printable PDF files. If you have the free Adobe Acrobat plug-in installed, you should be able to view and print the results directly. If not, you can get a copy of Acrobat here.
We store meet results as zipped files which you can download, unzip and import into your team's meet records. Except for championship meets, we don't put up web-page results, because they take up too much server space (which we pay for) and take too much time to create and upload. You can, however, download the meet files and print out your own final results using LSA SwimMeet. Here's how:
If you need more help to do this, please consult the LSA program manual or Help files which are located on your program CD. Updates are posted, when available, on the http://labsoftware.com web site.
You can also make web pages of the meet results which you can post to your own team web page if you wish.
You can use the same program that was originally used to run the meet or use an import of the sd3 results file to transfer to the other program.
In Meet5.7 use Web page button, OR, in Mee6.6 use Web, Make web pages; then choose how you wish to make the pages from the various options on screen, finishing by clicking on the Make result sheets button
Publish the pages in the usual way, from the web folder ,you just made, to your team's web site. You can even choose just to display your own teams results. [Contact LSA for more specific details.]
