All CT Team has been finalized with 108 athletes being selected to the team. Caps will be distributed.

Senior Championship (LC) Time Standards were distributed and discussed

LC meet evaluation was discussed. Most felt the 30 minutes added to each prelim session by out-of-state participants is worth it in terms of the level of competition they bring to the meet.

Senior Committee meeting schedule will be announced shortly and agenda items include: time standards/Senior Elite Camp/LC meet prep

New Technical Planning Chair, Ellen Johnston is offering assistance to committees of Program Development and is looking for direction. Committee and schedule of meetings to be established soon.

Discussed relay format from Age Groups and have decided to split relays back into 13/14 & 15/over age groups.

Planning for four camps is underway. The first will be a distance camp.

SC Zones – hotel and buses have been secured

Age Group Committee looking for opportunities for Parent Education.

Distance events at Regionals will be looked at.

Time Standards – a long discussion regarding time standards occurred. Reviewed reports from PD Chair and Time Standards Chair. Senior Champ (SC) are all set. Age Group Championship time standards were adopted with changes discussed, however a few questions need to be answered before they are approved. A special PD meeting will be held at 7:20pm prior to the Oct. 18^th House of Delegates Meeting to approve the standards.

SC Championship Meets are all set. Facilities are secured and as soon as the time standards are finalized, the meet announcements can be completed.

The committee discussed the idea of looking at the progression of athletes in the LSC to help clarify why we do what we do concerning the meet schedule, camps, etc. We need to establish a flow chart or framework and purpose of programs at each level to help give direction and move swimmers along. Tentatively, either a task force or Technical Planning will address this issue.
