Minutes of January 16, 2008
Meeting called to order at 7:10 pm
In Attendance: Rick Lewis (Chair), Peter Boucher, Dana Gnerre, Jeff Gray, Henk
Jenson and Ellen Johnson.
Not Present: Mike Ferraro, Christine Pelham, Barry Silver, Dan Zeek
Others present: Nan Cooper, Mike Huffman, Judy Snow
The Agenda was approved as presented
The minutes of October 9, 2007 meeting approved.
Committee Reports:
Age Group- None
Technical Planning – Will be meeting January 21, 2008 to discuss George Miles proposed warm-up procedure.
Senior- The Senior Committee made some changes to the CSI Athlete-of-the-Year meet nomenclature. Continuing to work on a coach speaker for a spring coach meeting.
New Business:
Short Course Age Group meet announcement: The following was approved.
Outreach Athlete policy added
800Y Freestyle Relay is limited to 1 team per club
Relay-only athletes are limited to 3 per age group/gender.
Long Course Regional Time Standards: None prepared for this meeting.
2008 Long Course Championship meet schedule: Approved.
July 3-6, 2008 Senior Championship
July 18-20, 2008 Regional Championships
July 24-27, 2008 Age Group Championship
