ASSISTANT COACH APPLICATION FORM

The 2008 Eastern Zone Long Course Swimming Championships will be held in Rockville, MD.  If you wish to be considered for a 2008 LC Zone Team Coach we must have your application by June 1, 2008.  The assistant coaching staff will be selected by the Age Group Committee and the Head Coach at the June 2008 meeting. 

ZONE TEAM ASSISTANT COACH REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.     Attend all scheduled zone team practices.

2.     Actively participate in meet coaching - ensuring all swimmers are ready and prepared to swim.

3.     Assist with relay participant selection and relay team order.

4.     Monitor and supervise team at all times (ie: at the pool, hotel, bus, etc) (supporting coordinator and chaperone efforts).

5.     Assist Head Coach as necessary.

SCHEDULE

Coaches will receive $80 per day plus room and board.
