West Hartford Aquatic Team: Senior Coach
The West Hartford Aquatic Team (WHAT) is currently accepting applications for a Senior coach. WHAT is a coach owned team and is a member of Connecticut and USA Swimming. WHAT is an all year round program that trains at Saint Joseph College in West Hartford, CT.
The philosophy of WHAT is simple: “Success is in the Details”. The WHAT organization is locally and nationally known for their attention to stroke technique and training athletes from an Age Group to National level. The WHAT coaching staff is always looking for innovative and progressive thinking which enhances the overall program and individual performance of all the WHAT athletes.
WHAT is looking for someone who can coach approximately 4-6 practices per week, plus occasional meets on the weekend. Job responsibilities will include on deck coaching with the senior level swimmers and attend USA swim meets designated by the head coach. Applicants must have prior coaching or swimming experience on the college, high school or club level.
First Aid, CPR, Lifeguard and Safety Training for Coaches are preferred.
