The West Hartford Aquatic Team is seeking an energetic, motivated and positive person to coach the Age Group program for the 2008-2009 seasons.  The candidate should have experience working with swimmers from 10-13 years old. The Age Group Coach would be responsible for the planning, execution and supervision of the Age Group Swimmers.  The job would require coaching 4-5 practices a week and attending meets 1-2 weekends a month. 

This person must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as effectively work with the Head Coach and WHAT staff. 

This applicant must posses or is willing to obtain the following…

• Valid First Aid certification
• Valid C.P.R. certification
• Valid American Red Cross Safety Training for Swim Coaches certification
• USA Swimming Background check
• Membership to USA Swimming
