The Cheshire Y/Sea Dog Swim Club, a USA Swimming Bronze Medal Club, is currently soliciting candidates for multiple Assistant Coaches to work with our Pre-Competitive program. We are looking for energetic and outgoing coaches who are looking to work in a fun and fast paced environment. The Assistant Coach, reports directly to the Head Age Group Coach.  The successful candidate will have previous coaching/swimming experience either as a coach or lessons instructor and be able to maintain a steady commitment to attending workouts and meets. The Cheshire Y/Sea Dog Swim Club practices at the Cheshire Community Pool, a 50 Meter by 25 Yard bubbled facility which is an outdoor pool from May to September and Cheshire Academy, a 6 lane 25 Yard indoor pool.

This is a part-time position.  Practices are Tuesday/Thursday 5:00-7:00pm.  Additional coaching opportunities are available if desired.  Wages are hourly and benefits include membership to our newly expanded YMCA. Education, certification, and travel expenses provided.  The position begins immediately.
