The Northwestern CT YMCA is seeking a Head Coach for its Lasers Youth Swim team. The program is for swimmers 5-18 yr olds, which had 89 members last year. The program has Fall, Winter and Spring/Summer sessions. Responsibilities include management and administrative and on-deck coaching.  The position begins in late September but will remain open until the appropriate candidates are found. This is a P/T position with PM practices and weekend meets.

Must hold certifications required to coach YMCA and USA swim teams, including Red Cross or YMCA Coaches Safety Training, CPR/AED, First Aid and Lifeguarding.  Excellent interpersonal & administration skills and a minimum of 3 years competitive coaching experience are required.
