MEET CLASSIFICATION: This meet is open to all USA Swimming athletes and clubs.
MEET FORMAT: The meet will be swum as timed finals. Friday evening’s events will be swum as mixed, timed finals.
SCRATCH PROCEDURES: Scratch sheets are due 40 minutes prior to the start of each session. While there will be no penalty for late submittal of scratch sheets, cooperating with this scratch deadline will allow meet management to produce heat sheets and lane timing sheets in a timely manner, thus causing no delay in the start of any session.
FACILITY: The Yale University Practice Pool (3rd Floor) is a 5 lane 50 meter pool. Colorado Timing will be used, buttons and watches only, no touch pads. Balcony seating is accessible from the 4th floor.
DISABLED ACCESS: Handicapped parking is available; entrance to Payne Whitney Gymnasium is handicapped accessible. Elevator service is available to the 4th floor for seating. Locker rooms as well are handicapped accessible.

SESSION TIMES: Friday Evening’s Session is a 5:00 Warm-up, 6:00 Start. Saturday and Sunday 13/Over Sessions have a 7:30 AM Warm-up, 8:45 Start. Saturday and Sunday 12/Under Sessions have a 1:00 Warm-up and a 2:00 Start.
WARM-UPS: CT Swimming Warm-Up Procedures will be in effect. .
ELIGIBILITY: All athletes must be current athlete members of USA Swimming. Age on the first day of the meet shall determine the swimmer’s age and age group for the meet. Any swimmer who is entered and is unregistered will be scratched from the meet until registration is completed. All coaches must present a valid USA Swimming coach card to the Meet Director prior to the commencement of any sanctioned swim meet, and must have this card with them while on deck.
ADAPTED SWIMMING: Any current athlete members of USA Swimming with a disability as defined by USA Swimming Rules and Regulations may enter this meet. If modifications to USA Swimming rules are necessary then the coach or athlete must notify the meet referee of any disability prior to competition.
EVENT INFORMATION: Swimmers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to attend this competition. Friday’s events will be swim as mixed. Friday’s session will be limited to 3 hours of swimming. Saturday and Sunday’s sessions will be limited to 4 hours of swimming.
ENTRY LIMITATIONS: Swimmers may enter and swim a maximum of 5 events per session.
ENTRY TIMES: Submit entry times in LCM. No Times are discouraged.
DEADLINES: Entry deadline is Thursday, June 11. Email entries to Dave Reilly, dmr123@sbcglobal.net. Emailed entries are preferred. If mailing the entries, or if mailing payment, mail to Dave Reilly, 57 Union Street, Guilford, CT 06437. All entries must use full names and registration numbers from USA Swimming registration. Entries will be accepted until the meet fills to a 3 hour session on Friday, and until the sessions on Saturday and Sunday fill to 4 hours each. Entries will be accepted with the following provisions: CT team entries received on or before Wednesday, June 10 will be accepted, in the order they were received, prior to any considerations given to out-of-state team entries. After Wednesday, June 10, out-of-state team entries and CT team entries will be accepted with no priority given to either group, except for the order in which they were received, provided the meet has not yet reached its session limitations. The entry chair will accept late entries, in the order they are received, provided the meet has not yet reached its session limitations, until Friday, June 26. After Friday, June 26, absolutely no submitted entries will be considered.
CONNECTICUT-ONLY DEADLINE: Wednesday, June 10. After Wednesday, June 10, providing the meet has yet to reach its session limitations, all entries, in state and out of state, will receive equal consideration, based on the order they were received.
SUBMITTING ENTRIES: Electronic entries (such as from Hy-Tek Team Manager or other team management software) that are in CL2 or SD3/SDIF format are preferred and should be emailed as an attachment to the entry chair at dmr123@sbcglobal.net. If mailing entries, mail to Dave Reilly, 57 Union Street, Guilford, CT 06437. Please check that your team name, address, and contact information are listed correctly in your entry. Payment for entries, if not mailed, must be made upon arrival at the meet to the entry chair. Your confirmation of the entry chair’s receipt of entry, and the entry’s acceptance or rejection, will be made in a timely manner by the entry chair via email upon receipt of your entry. If you do not receive via email a timely confirmation of your sent entry, 24 hours for emailed entry, 3 days for mailed entry, do not assume the entry was received or accepted. In the event you do not receive this confirmation in the time frame listed, you need to contact the entry chair for entry submittal verification.
ENTRY FEES: Electronic entries: $4.50. Manual entries: $6.00 for individual events.

CUT PROTOCOL: Woodbridge Aquatic Club will limit all Saturday and Sunday sessions to no more than 4 hours. Friday evening’s session will be limited to 3 hours of swimming. Submitted entries will be accepted until these sessions are filled. Clubs will be notified of entry acceptance or non acceptance within 24 hours of emailed entry, within 3 days of mailed entry.
RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE CHANGES: The meet referee reserves the right to make any
adjustments to the provisions of the meet announcement deemed necessary to ensure the fair and efficient
running of the meet, with prior approval from Program Operations. Clubs will be notified of any changes no
later than the Monday before the meet.
RELAYS: No Relays are offered at this competition.
SAFETY:
RULES: Current USA Swimming rules will govern all competition.
TIME TRIALS: Time Trials will be offered at the discretion of the meet referee if time allows. Time Trials are $5.00. Time Trial events count toward the total numbered of event limitations per session and will only include those events listed in the meet.
TIMERS, OFFICIALS OR WORK ASSIGNMENTS: Teams will be contacted regarding timing and /or other work assignments via email, a few days prior to the start of the meet.
DECK ACCESS: Only athletes, coaches, officials, and official meet staff actively participating in the meet are permitted on the pool deck.
SCORING: The meet will not be scored.
AWARDS: None
CONCESSIONS: Yes, but limited due to facility constraints.
HOSPITALITY FOR COACHES AND OFFICIALS: Absolutely.
PARKING: Ample parking behind Payne Whitney Gymnasium in addition to street parking.
DIRECTIONS: Merritt Parkway to Exit 59. Turn south to the first traffic light and left onto Whalley Ave. Go 3.7 miles to York Ave. Turn left at York. Go to the first light. Turn left onto Tower Parkway. Entrance to the Gymnasium will be on your right, at the base of the tower. From I-95 or I-91 merge onto CT-34 W, New Haven. From this ramp take the second exit and get into the right lane. At the second light turn right onto York Street. Follow directions above.
